The miter gauge fit tight and snug right out of the box. The only movement is back and forth, no more side to side.
I own two of these, one for the table saw and the other does double duty between my router table and sanding station. I could not find a better miter gauge for the money and neither will you. Very accurate and easy to set up and use.
A perfect secondary miter square. I use it for my band saw, router tables, and belt/disk sanders. I own a number of other Incra devices and am always pleased with their performance.
This basic miter gauge was a great addition at a very reasonable price. I can use it on both table saw and router table and it glides smoothly through the t slot. The locking mechanism is very secure and the knob gives an excellent control point. The gauge required no adjustment as it was factory square.
As any wood worker knows it is essential to have the right tools to do the job right. I bought the bottom of the line. I looked at a lot of different Miters before deciding to buy this particular one. I was to say the least impressed with all the literature I came across on this tool. But if I had of known then what I came to realise once I held it in my hand I'd have bought a model slightly higher than this one. But which ever you buy you will not be sorry.
